How do I apply?

Sign in to Eligify and complete your profile (academic scores, English test scores, budget, and study preferences). Browse universities marked as eligible for you, open the one you want, choose your intake and course, then submit your application from the app.

An active subscription is required before you can apply (₹499 for 6 months). After you submit, we forward your application details to the university and send you a confirmation email. The university admissions team typically responds within 5–7 working days on your registered email.

How to check eligibility?

Complete your academic profile in the app (qualification, scores, IELTS/TOEFL if applicable, budget, preferred countries and courses, and level of study — undergraduate or postgraduate).

Then open the eligibility or university list — Eligify shows which universities match your profile. Each university is marked eligible or not based on your data. You can also run a dedicated eligibility check filtered by your preferred countries and courses.

Keep your profile up to date; eligibility results change when your scores, budget, or preferences change.

Question 3

How do you do the visa process?

Eligify does not process student visas directly in the app. We help you discover universities, check eligibility, and submit applications.

Some university detail pages include post-study work or visa-related notes from the university. Final visa decisions are made by immigration authorities in the destination country.

How do I track my application?

Open the Applications section in the app to see all applications you have submitted. Each entry shows the university, course, intake, and current status (for example: pending, submitted, under review, accepted, or rejected).

Tap an application for full details. Status updates depend on review by the university and our team — check back in the app or watch for emails on your registered address.

How to see University Details?

From the university list, tap any university to open its detail page. You will see information such as location, tuition range, English language requirements, intakes, application deadlines, scholarships, rankings, and other notes we have on file.

The detail page also shows whether you are currently eligible for that university and whether you have already applied there.

Question 6

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

You can raise a request to delete your account by emailing support@eligifyedu.com or using the in-app contact option while signed in. Please include the email address you used to register.

Once we verify your request, we will delete all data associated with your account from our systems within 7–8 working days.

Question 7

How do I change my university choice?

Accepted Answer

If you have not submitted an application yet, choose a different eligible university and apply there.

After you submit an application, you cannot apply to the same university again from the app. To change your choice, update course or intake details, or apply again to a university you already used, email support@eligifyedu.com with your registered email and application details — our team will handle your request manually.

Question 8

How do I get my refund? Payment failure

If your payment failed in the app but the amount was still debited from your bank account, email support@eligifyedu.com from your registered email with the payment date and any transaction reference (from Razorpay or your bank).

Our team will verify the failed payment and process a refund to your bank account. Refunds are typically credited within 8–9 working days.

If payment did not go through and nothing was debited, simply try the payment flow again in the app — you need an active subscription (₹499 for 6 months) before you can submit applications.

Payment receipt download?

Accepted Answer

Payment is handled securely through Razorpay. After a successful payment, you may receive a receipt or invoice from Razorpay on your email or payment app, depending on your payment method.

The Eligify app shows your subscription status (plan, dates, and payment state) but does not currently offer a separate receipt download inside the app. If you need help with a receipt, email support@eligifyedu.com with your payment details.

Why I should share my details?

We ask for your academic scores, English test results, budget, and study preferences so Eligify can show universities you are realistically eligible for — saving you time on programs that would not accept your profile.

When you apply, a snapshot of your profile is shared with the university so their admissions team can review your candidacy. We use your details only to provide eligibility matching, applications, and support — as described in our Privacy Policy (available in the app under legal documents).

What parameters were taken into consideration for checking my eligibility?

Eligify checks three areas for each university:

1. Academic fit — Your percentage or GPA (including 10th, 12th, or graduation scores where relevant) is compared to the university’s minimum academic requirement.

2. English language — Your IELTS or TOEFL score is compared to the university’s requirement for your level of study (undergraduate or postgraduate). If the university lists both tests, meeting either requirement can qualify you.

3. Budget — Your stated budget (in your chosen currency) is compared to the university’s minimum annual tuition (converted using current exchange rates). Your budget must be higher than that minimum tuition figure.

When you use eligibility check with preferred countries and courses, we also filter universities to those that match your selected destinations and course interests.

Question 12

Is my application or university confirmation letter assured my visa and admission?

Accepted Answer

No. Submitting an application through Eligify does not guarantee admission, a university offer letter, or a student visa.

A confirmation from Eligify means we received and forwarded your application; the university makes its own admission decision. Visa approval is solely decided by the relevant immigration authorities. Any acceptance or offer letter comes directly from the university, not from Eligify.
