We use a secure OTP (One-Time Password) based login — no passwords are collected or stored.

1.2 Eligibility Form Data

Academic qualifications, grades, and transcripts.
Language test scores (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.).
Preferred countries, courses, and budget range.
Work experience and extra-curricular information.

1.3 Payment Information

We collect only the minimum payment information necessary to process your transaction, such as billing name and transaction confirmation details.
All payments are handled through trusted, secure third-party payment gateways. We do not store sensitive payment data on our servers.

1.4 Communication Data

Emails and notifications exchanged between you and Eligify.
University response data forwarded to you as part of our application service.
Support tickets, feedback, and chat messages.

1.5 Automatic and Technical Data

IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and time spent.
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

Universities and Institutions: We share your application data with universities you choose to apply to, solely for processing your admission enquiry.
Payment Processors: Secure third-party gateways receive only the data necessary to process your payment. They operate under their own privacy policies.
Service Providers: Trusted vendors (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics) who process data only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Eligify and its users.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained until you delete your account.
Application and form data is retained for up to 5 years for record-keeping and dispute resolution.
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

5. Data Security

All data transmissions are encrypted using TLS/SSL.
OTP-based authentication eliminates password-related vulnerabilities entirely.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments are conducted.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to keep your registered email account secure.

Analytics Cookies: Help us understand usage patterns using anonymised data only.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this document and notify you via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of Eligify after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
